Priest of the diocese of Bilbao, is professor emeritus of theFaculty of Theology of Deusto and visiting professor at the Universidad Centroamericana of ElSalvador. He is a member of the editorial board of the magazine Iglesia Viva. His earlier contributions to this collection were Irak, a preventive war? (Booklet 85) and A just economic order (Booklet 87). He is a member of the team of Cristianisme i Justícia.
