How is it possible that for centuries the right to private property has been considered a natural and sacred right to which all other human rights are subordinate, and on which all others depend, however fundamental they might be? This booklet seeks to explain the tortuous ideological construct which lies behind the “naturalization” and “sacralization” of the bourgeois right to private property

Death is a subject that raises so many questions. A first question would be: where "are" those loved ones that death has snatched away from us? A second question: where will we "be" when the same happens to us? These are questions with complex answers that leave us with a sense of uncertainty and anxiety. This booklet seeks to reflect on the quest or search that these questions have brought about within the context of Christian theology.

Today, it is both a practical and tacit form of nihilism that exists, which is neither formulated nor expressed, yet which acts as a latentframework for a few specific lifestyles which certain thinkers havedescribed as the "culture of oblivion", the "era of emptiness","liquid modernity"...

Jaume Flaquer's intention in this study, is to open up a new perspective on the subject, where the immigrant is not seen as a danger, or as an economic opportunity, but rather as an example of a 'free' or 'liberated' person, whose life can be understood as a search or journey of hope towards an uncertain future.

We are undoubtedly living in a time of crisis, a time when it is fitting to ask what type of society and what type of world we want to build. A time when, once and for all, we are called to possess the clarity of mind needed to know how to identify the emerging possibilities that we may find in our present reality. Crises are, to a certain extent, a wake-up call demanding that we change direction and build a world on new foundations. This booklet describes which are these foundations and the role that Religions may play in the setting up of a New Word Order.

Twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, other walls still form part of our everyday life. Other walls are perhaps more subtle, though they are still the cause of bloodshed, because they exist within us and take possession of our lives. These are the walls that separate “them” from “us. This booklet will explore the meaning and implications of situations like those, which are both symbolic and real, personal and public, spiritual and political.
